The contract for the reconstruction of the shooting development of the Zimnitsa station and the rehabilitation of the contact network in the Zimnitsa and Straldzha stations is signed

The contract for the reconstruction of the shooting range of the Zimnitsa station and the rehabilitation of the contact network in the Zimnitsa and Straldzha stations was signed at 30 September 2019. It is part of the project “Rehabilitation of the Plovdiv-Burgas Railway Phase 2”. The scope of the site includes reconstruction of the shooting range of Zimnitsa station, renovation of railway arrows and railway lines with new rails and sleepers, construction of new platforms, rehabilitation of the reception building of the station, as well as construction of a new pedestrian underpass equipped with the necessary access facilities for persons with reduced mobility and repair of existing underpass. In the area of ​​the station will be built noise and safety fences and parking spaces for vehicles and the access conditions for persons with reduced mobility will be provided. Also a new alarm system will be implemented at the Zimnitsa station. The contractor of the site is VDH Ltd. The value of the contract is BGN 27 470 887,19 without VAT and its term of performance is 36 months.

The reconstruction of the shooting development of the Zimnitsa station and the rehabilitation of the contact network in the Zimnitsa and Straldzha stations are being co-financed by the Cohesion Fund (CF) through the Operational Program Transport and Transport Infrastructure 2014-2020.
